We are Joyce and Mike Matthews from Vintage & Modern, trading our wares from NB Kimberley. Due to national lockdowns, we did not start trading until 2021, and have enjoyed many markets and festivals since.
Mike has a passion for canals after being introduced to canals in the 1960s and getting involved with restoration work at the time. Joyce has her love of canals, along with meeting and chatting to people on the way.

We sell a wide variety of vintage (and some antique) and modern collectable items, including canalware (new and used), metalware (including Brass, Copper and Silverware), Ceramic Figurines from Lladro, Nao, Royal Doulton and Coalport, glassware, vintage ceramics, vintage and antique fashion jewellery, and a variety of vintage artwork alongside our fabric items made by Joyce. The modern items include cushions, tote bags, dog bandanas, hats, book covers and page markers etc.

We can generally be found travelling the 4-counties ring and adjacent canals but, in 2024, there will be excursions into the East Midlands and West Midlands subject to events being confirmed.

Our vintage and antique collectables are sourced from throughout the UK and France.

We are loving life as traders and within the trading community and for 2024 would like a little more sunshine.
