Third party contractors will be carrying out tree works adjacent to overhead power lines alongside the canal and towpath.

All boat traffic should slow down, approach with caution and be prepared to stop if requested. Short delays up to 10/15 minutes may be necessary for contractors to move out of the way. Banksmen and warning signs will be in place. Towpath users will be escorted past the works.
