The Roving Canal Traders Association traditionally starts off the year with Easter Markets, and 2023 is no exception! As usual, we have two markets – this year in Linslade and Great Haywood.
There will be several traders at each event and plenty of wonderful items to buy! Take a look at the details below:

Linslade
Aylesbury Canal Society
My name is Lesley. I have been trading along our beautiful canals from my narrowboat, Widgeon, for many years.
It all started out as a hobby but, of course, I ran out of storage space! So I decided to sell my hand painted and hand knitted items. I have kept it very small and I only sell items I have crafted myself. My little stall is well worth a visit as I have many unique items on offer. Hope you like them.

All the goods pictured below Pam has produced on board the boat. And, while she might be good at making things, she’s a bit rubbish at taking photographs! So apologies for that.

Tilden
Tilden was born during lockdown after losing my job. Whilst all alone on my Narrowboat (apart from crazy FinnDog), I started carving hiking staffs from branches found out & about on hikes. I found it very therapeutic and built up a nice little collection. Tilden was named using both of my children’s names joined together.
I gave a few away as gifts to friends and sold a few resulting in some great feedback. From that point onwards, Tilden was born.
Tilden Walking Staffs are hand carved from recycled fallen branches found on walks & adventures. We plant a new tree for every staff that is made. Every staff has a story why not make it part of yours.
